Source Unknown This is very powerful and should bring abuse awareness to the APH community. As an American it makes me sick to watch the woman’s rights movement be stripped away. Domestic abuse is on the rise. Rape has become a joke or blame the woman for how she dresses. We need to be there for those who were abused!

The lack of notes is bothering me.

I’ve said this before and I’ll point it out again -

Menstruation is caused by change in hormonal levels to stop the creation of a uterine lining and encourage the body to flush the lining out. The body does this by lowering estrogen levels and raising testosterone.

Or, to put it more plainly “That time of the month” is when female hormones most closely resemble male hormones. So if (cis) women aren’t suited to office at “That time of the month” then (cis) men are NEVER suited to office.

If you are a dude and don’t dig the ladies around you at their time of the month, just think! That is you all of the time.

And, on a final note, post-menopausal (cis) women are the most hormonally stable of all human demographics. They have fewer hormonal fluctuations of anyone, meaning older women like Hilary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren would theoretically be among the least likely candidates to make an irrational decision due to hormonal fluctuations, and if we were basing our leadership decisions on hormone levels, then only women over fifty should ever be allowed to hold office.

Reblogging hard for that last comment.

I WANTED TO SAY THIS BUT THEN SOMEONE ELSE DID and I’m dang proud.

GLORIOUS

Question: What does “resurrection” mean to you?

Omar Epps: For me, what the show has made me experienced has really made me key into the moment. The present is the only thing that truly is. It doesn’t matter what you believe. It’s the only true reality… it made me look at the little things. If we were to… look at the body, it’s like a miracle every day. It’s like the universe is happening physically inside of the body in all of us every day. It’s just your perspective on that, you know what I mean? So in a sense, we’re resurrected every day.

Zachary Levi: Get deep, Omar! Get deep!

Certain audio frequencies bring back certain memories. If you play the right song, it can take you back to a specific point in time. Scientists at Delta University tapped into this phenomenon and, by mixing certain pitches and tones, created an audio file that can transport you back to your most emotionally unstable point in the past. For some, it is infancy. For others, seventh grade.

To test their theory, this track was played over the loudspeaker while several students were taking exams at a frequency so high it was barely detectable. Several things happened. Some students crumpled their paper up in frustration. Others were found crying on the floor. Still others began to argue among themselves or with the teacher.

When one student flung themselves out the 10th story window, they had to close the project for good. However, the track was leaked onto the web and can now be found in the darkest corners of the internet. Listen… if you dare.

fuck i’m scared…

Remember when Snape made fun of the size of a teenage girls teeth and she subsequently chose to change them so they were permanently smaller? What a hero.

Remember how close Snape and Lily were and remember the time when he went and saw her dead on the floor and remember how he held her and cried because he was in love with her

Ah yes, from my favourite book, Harry Potter and the Things That Never Actually Happened
